Gourd bowl with fall leaves that I used a wood burner to create. Then painted and used wood stain. I really enjoyed working with gourds....very messy work, but well worth it.
That is wonderful work!! One of my neighbors let my teenage son borrow his wood burning set to carve into a gourd. It was so very nice of him and I was scared to death that we would end up having to replace it! But you are right... whew! What a mess those things are. My son had a great time playing around with it though. Your finished product is gorgeous! I love the fall leaves design and the colors are beautiful!
