So wild are the flowers...........
$65.00
This 22" X 27" Floor cloth is all hand painted with a unique crackle background and pretty little flowers stretching their stems. There is so much texture in this piece and fits with earthy tones just perfectly. (Note: The name of the business and artist are a watermark and will not be present on your floor cloth)
Floor cloths are very durable, easy to clean and pet friendly. They are a wonderful way to add more art to your home....art you can walk on. I personally use floor cloths in most rooms of my home, including under the kitchen table. They all still look great!
I use a heavy weight canvas that I prepare for paint by preshrinking the fabric and hemming with mitered corners. These floor cloths lay flat.
I prime both sides of floor cloth and add two coats of base color to decorated side. Sanding is done between coats and finally the design is painted. After paint cures I apply several coats of polyurethane to both sides. This will protect from moisture and traffic.
You will receive care and installation instructions with your order.
Thank you for stopping,

Quilts for the floor?
I wish the photos were better, but this is a floor cloth I created sometime ago. It is with one of my customers now, but it's one of my favorites. I designed this one shortly after a dear family friend gave me a few of her quilts she collected before she passed away. I always thought I would create a floor cloth quilt line in her honor and I still may do so.
I would love to know what you think.....feedback is oh so good.

Floor cloth inspired by 1600-1700 coverlet design

For most this won't seem to "Witchy", but this is a floor cloth I designed using coverlet inspired colors and shapes from the 1600's; the time of the Salem Witch Trials.

Bunny Makes a Wish
Welcome Banner
17” X 30” hanging banner is perfect
for inside or outside decorating. Its
painted surfaces are protected with polyurethane and floor wax to insure
weather resistance. Hang it by its wire
in your patio or covered entry way.
All of my work is created on raw heavy weight canvas. I prepare the canvas for paint by
preshrinking the fabric and then machine sewing a generous hem with mitered
corners. The decorated side will have two
to three coats of the base color before the designing process even begins. Sanding
is done between coats and finally the design is painted. After paint cures I
apply several coats of polyurethane to both sides. This will protect from daily
use and moisture. The finishing touch is rubbing on and buffing off some
Johnson's floor wax for extra protection.

Art you just can't put away
Christmas is all tucked away until next year, all but these two little pieces. I like to keep these in my studio along with other pieces I acquire from the artists I meet online and at shows. This way I can enjoy them all year long. So much better than any commercial products. Thank you Chuck McClenning and Debb George for sharing your talents.
