Carpe Vino - Seize the Wine!

I have to say, today was a beautiful weather day.  The first day in weeks where the humidity was low and there was a touch of coolness in the air.  I enjoyed the day even though I cleaned house. I'm still trying to catch up from last weeks craft show, somehow the house just goes to pot.

So now with a clean house, I am enjoying a glass or two of wine and putting my feet up.

These coasters are about 5"X5" and hand painted in the same way I create my floor cloths and table runners.

Pumpkin Table Runner with a crackle background

This table runner has great texture and is all sealed with several coats of polyurethane.  The background color is a creamy off white done with a crackle paint effect.  The pumpkins are painted on both ends and the whole piece is surrounded with vines of bitter sweet.

I just sold two on Etsy this week.  Get it while the getting is good.
